The fragility of this gift called LIFE…
Posted on 18 August 2009
I tenderly opened the door of Rm 1426 at the Medical City. And there he was, lying quietly and covered with the usual hospital sheets. His head was covered with a thick gauze and his left leg which was bandaged was slightly raised.
Jun Castro survived a very horrible, massive car accident yesterday at 3am.
The Honda Civic he was driving rammed through the highway island and catapulted on the other side of the highway. All four people in the car was hurled outside – even the engine was nowhere to be found. The car’s hood was about 100 ft away…
Jun was the only one that was hurt and even then – he was still virtually un-harmed. He sustained a gash on his head and a slight ankle fracture that should heal. His body was bruised up -but when you see the total wreck of the car that was, it is a miracle that he is still alive – with no broken ribs or anything.
Thank you God for saving my younger brother’s life. Thank you for protecting him. Thank you for not allowing anyone to be passing on the other side of the highway when the car was catapulted and was smashed on impact.
Thank you Lord. We could have been visiting him at another place had it not been for your intervention.
Thank you Lord. Thank you for your grace. Thank you for your healing grace. Please comfort the family and let them experience your lavish care upon them.
Thank you Jesus. Thank you for keeping Jun safe.
