How my highschool e-group turned into an online prayer group!

Something amazing happened to my highschool’s egroup.  What has been used as a channel for communication of plans, personal and family updates – has suddenly turned into an online prayer group!

A classmate based in New York sent a forwarded message based on a Rick Warren’s interview.  Rick Warren mentioned about the condition of his wife who is battling cancer right now.

That elicited a response from a batchmate in the West Coast who is also battling cancer.  Another batchmate – shared her health concerns. Another one with cervical cancer in the Middle East.  A classmate shared the info on her father’s prostate cancer….

For the past 3 days or so, our yahoogroup has been receiving prayer messages, healing prayers were being written to encourage the batchmates who are going through such afflictions.

Amazing how the Holy Spirit can use an online group to make people realize that we have a God who loves us unconditionally.

Thank you Lord for what You have done.  May you continue to take our relationships higher and deeper into the unfathomable heights and depths of your wonderful love for us through Jesus Christ our Lord.

To my classmate based in NY: – thank you for allowing yourself to be used as a conduit of God’s redemptive and merciful grace!

The batch83 believe in the power of prayer. It is good to know the specific trouble our batchmates are going through. This makes our request specific when we come before God in prayer. Let the will of God prevails in the lives of every one in batch83. I keep remembering those who are weak and strong and sick and healthy among us in prayer.
