Difficulty at SLEX (South Luzon Expressway)

This was how it looked yesterday as I tried to go to the office.  The traffic was already stuck as far as Petron (northbound)… the streets of Manila were already getting flooded and it had a powerful effect on SLEX (made worse by the Phase 2 of the Skyway Construction.)

Reminded of my 9-hour driving saga to nowhere last year (also at SLEX) I made a U-turn after driving for 2 hours in that bumper-to-bumper road situation.

Lord have mercy.  The rainy season is here and this would slow down the construction – and will make our traffic nightmares longer.
